Dr. Nancy Hope Alexander currently serves as the Executive Director of Grants Administration for Oklahoma City Community College and formerly served as a tenured Associate Professor of Business at Langston University, the only Historically Black College or University in the state of Oklahoma. She received her Ph.D. in Entrepreneurial Training and Development and her Master of Business Administration from the University of Oklahoma and her Bachelor of Business from Central State University in Edmond, OK. From Dartmouth University she also received her Tuck School of Business Certification for Implementing a System for High Quality Service for Minority and Native American owned Businesses. Her areas of expertise include business policy development and programming, human rights, internationalization/naturalization efforts, and study abroad. Dr. Alexander has a wealth of experience preparing students for global study abroad projects and has developed several social entrepreneurship programs to empower global citizens. One included working with students to develop an exporting program for a group of African, female cashew nut farmers in Sierra Leone. She has over 20 years of experience developing international education curriculum modules and grant writing. Dr. Alexander has been officially recognized by the United States Department of Agriculture/Rural Business Program for her global work with students from Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs) and Predominantly White Institutions (PWI). She has taught International Studies courses for undergraduate and graduate business students and participated in organizing many other US based business development overseas projects involving educators, policymakers, and community members from South Africa.
